Care Guide

ELVANTTO pieces are made from a smooth polyurethane (PU) coated material that holds a crisp fold. A little care keeps the lines sharp and the surface clean for years.

Everyday cleaning

• Wipe the outside with a soft, dry cloth after use to remove dust.
• For marks, use a cloth dampened with water and a drop of mild soap, then wipe again with a clean damp cloth and let it air-dry.
• Never use solvents, alcohol, bleach, leather conditioners or abrasive sponges; they can dull or crack the surface.
• Do not machine wash, tumble dry or iron.

Keeping the folds sharp

• Store your bag stuffed with acid-free tissue so the folds keep their shape.
• Keep it upright in its cotton dust bag, away from heavier items that could crease the planes.
• Avoid hanging shoulder bags by the strap for long periods.

Heat, sun and water

• Keep away from radiators, car dashboards and prolonged direct sunlight, which can fade colour and soften the material.
• The surface resists light rain. If it gets wet, blot with a soft cloth and let it dry naturally at room temperature.

Colour transfer

Light-coloured pieces can pick up dye from new denim or dark fabrics. Wipe any transfer as soon as you notice it with a slightly damp cloth.

Straps and metal parts

• Clip and unclip straps by the metal clip, not by pulling the strap.
• Keep metal parts away from perfume and hand cream, and wipe them dry if they get wet.
